Future sight of the Olympics was the backdrop to the Freeride World Tour stop in Sochi, Russia.  After day 1 where many of the competitors borrowed equipment and went on last second hunts for ski clothes due to a luggage issue, day 2 brought perfect powder conditions and excellent skiing.  Samuel Anthamatten, the soft spoken ski mountain guide from Switzerland, put down a fast, powderful run to take the victory.  Aurelien Ducroz of France regained his footing on the podium to stand tall in second place and Stefan Hausl of Austria was third.  Their runs are below in the video.  For more info on the tour visit their website at freerideworldtour.com
