Woodward at Copper: airbags and women

Posted By: The Ski Channel on March 9, 2011 11:57 am

You may have seen some resorts are putting out airbags under kickers or jumps for athletes of all skill levels to throw tricks into.  For the entire month of March, the fine folks with Woodward at Copper are offering Airbagsessions for only $15, normally $30.   A One Hit Wonder session is no longer required. Simply watch the Airbag safety video and buy a ticket at either the Barn or Cage at Copper for only $15. A special lift ticket price of $59 is available with the purchase of an Airbag session.

In addition, the final Woodward at Copper Women’s Winter Camp, March 19-20, is right around the corner. Women’s Winter Camps are for snowboarders and skiers looking to hang out with other women for a full day of fun and progression. The camps are a great place for those new to the park and pipe as well as veteran jibbers and jumpers. The camps are taught by Gnu riders Terri Mayrer, Sandra Hillen and other Woodward coaches who are dialed in with progressive coaching techniques in the Barn and on the mountain. The Woodward Airbag will also be available for those looking for a softer landing when taking tricks to the snow for the first time. There will be tons of awesome prizes including 2 Gnu Snowboards! Camps run for two days, but guests are welcome to sign up for just one day, starting at just $99.
