Telluride Ski Resort will be taking full advantage of the longer days and premiere snow conditions this spring as Daylight Savings begins Sunday, March 13.

With warm days and cold nights approaching, and the snow piling up this March, the resort will shift its current operating hours of 9am-4pm to 10am-5pm beginning this Sunday in order for skiers to make the most of these great conditions.

This weekend is also the New Belgium Scavenger Hunt, Saturday, March 12.  This is a day to don your best costume, chase chickens, search for bigfoot and answer some ridiculous riddles all while skiing, raising money for a great local non-profit, the Telluride Adaptive Ski Program, and bonding with your friends – or the person you meet in the check-in line and decided to sign up as a team. So! Get a buddy or 4, bring $10 per person and your ski pass, or purchase a lift ticket, and join the fleet of New Belgium characters on the slopes at for a Scavenger Hunt like no other…

On March 18th-20th, Land Rover will be integrated throughout the resort, and guests will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of driving off-road in the world’s most capable all-terrain vehicles during Ride & Drive weekends.  Skiers and snowboarders can put the vehicles through the paces on a custom driving course. Guests can choose from 2011 model year Range Rovers, Range Rover Sports and Land Rover LR4s.
