The best comp ever is going down right now at Snowbird!  The Subaru Freeskiing World Tour has two days of qualifying on West Baldy before day 1 starts on Friday, weather permitting, on Silver Fox and day 2 resumes on North Baldy and the Amphitheatre.  Amazing venues for spectators to catch a glimpse of incredible skiing.  Cold beers, flasks, bbq’s, good times and friends cheer on the 100 or so men and women trying to reach the podium.

Four women and 15 men made the cut, and will join pre-qualified competitiors on Friday.  Crested Butte’s Cierra Glen took first with a 27.77, followed by Stowe’s Sasha Dingle with a 27.67 and local girl Cait Morgan with a 26.63. For the men, local Riley Bergseng stomped it with a 40.30, Crystal Mountain’s Conor Pelton with a 38.33 and Rasmus Ekman of Sweden with a 38.20.
