The flyin Hawaiin and Day 1 leader of the Subaru Freeride World Tour is Drew Tabke.  No hesitation off the Frenchy air up top on Silver Fox then he bombed over to North Chute and launched left to right going bigger than anyone had yet.  Big smooth turns to the bonus booter at the bottom were we knew he would throw something cool.  He did.  A huge floaty mute grab 3 to complete his run and score over 46 points!  Did I mention he absolutey stomped every landing?   Incredible run.  He ended up over 2 points ahead of Chopo Diaz who had a sick run too to take second on the day with third going to Squaw Valley local Kevin O’Meara.  Local hero Nick, little buddy, Greener took fourth and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa didn’t disappoint with 4 360′s and a fast silky smooth run to put him in the 5th slot and definitely in contention heading into tomorrows finals on North Baldy.  You can watch all the incredible action right here with a live feed.  The MSI crew delivers an amazing live broadcast so you can catch all the high flying action starting at 10 a.m on Saturday.

For the ladies none other than Angel Collinson reminded us yet again that she is the badest sister on the slopes with a comanding lead heading into the finals tomorrow.  Ashely Maxfield and Crystal Wright were 2nd and 3rd, respectively.  check out the videos of the action today.  Ladies first…..
