PowderQuest, South America’s premiere Ski & Snowboard Tour Operator, announces the addition of industry veteran Luke Shelley as Director of Marketing. Operating out of the new PowderQuest marketing office in New Hampshire, Shelley will oversee marketing & brand management.
“PowderQuest is a brand that I have watched grow since 1999 and have always been impressed by the range of incredible Ski & Snowboard Tours that David and his talented crew are able to offer throughout Argentina and Chile,” says Shelley. “The Andes are the 2nd largest mountain range in the world and there are 25+ ski resorts in South America. This new opportunity allows me to present clients and industry contacts with a huge number of options to come get some powder in the Andes during the North America summer. I believe travelling the globe is one of the most important things people can do to bring this world closer together and I am stoked to roll up my sleeves and get to work at PowderQuest to make a difference!”
A Boston native, Luke Shelley was previously the Director of Marketing for South America Snow Sessions helping the brand grow from an unknown to one of the most recognizable names in the industry over the past 6 years. Prior to SASS Luke Shelley was the Director of Snowboarding at Loon Mountain and aided Burton Snowboards in the creation of the world’s first progression park. Bringing a strong 20 years of experience in the action sports industry, Shelley has worked in the bike, wake, snow and resort sectors.
“We are very excited to have Luke join the PowderQuest family.” stated David Owen, President and Founder of the PowderQuest brand. “His reputation in the industry, extensive experience in South America, and true passion toward action sports will be a great asset to our brand growth and marketing goals.”
