The Salomon ski brand has been riding high this season and that is not just on top of deep powder.  Their skis have been flying out of shops and were a huge buzz at the SIA SnowShow in Denver this year.  The ski pictured above from the pride of Ogden, Utah had people talking from one end of the showroom floor to the other.  And that wasn’t just their crime fighting Mayor being proud of his golden boy brand…everyone was talking about the line.  The amount of times we heard “Did you see that new Salomon ski” left counting on one hand impossible by Thursday night and left counting on two hands impossible by Friday night.

Innovation is something that Salomon, the brand that partnered with Mike Douglas to allow us all to ski backwards has never been short of.  So I guess when you got it…you to got to show it.

Since Deepcember, the Salomon Shape Your Adventure Tour has made it across the country and back, offering opportunities for retailers and skiers to test Salomon’s latest innovation in alpine skiing.   After visiting approximately 50 ski areas, the Tour is headed back to the land of their US headquarters, Utah.

“It’s been incredible just to get out and reintroduce skiers to the feelings of freedom, adventure and fun that got us started in the sport in the first place,” says Tour Manager Seth Warner. “Just seeing how people react when we show up with a truck full of this ski has been amazing — they’ve loved it. Now it’s time to party and thank the locals for the support!”

Come join the party for a spring skiing BBR blast at Alta on April 2nd.

Free demos of the Salomon BBR ski all day, food, drinks, music and more. Meet pro athletes, try your ski limbs out in a 3-legged race, enter to win free Alta season’s passes, Salomon BBR skis, Rocker 2′s and more!
