It’s not over yet at Wild Mountain

The season is starting to wind down. But it is not over yet.  Wild Mountain is planning on being open thru Sunday, March 27th.

This Saturday is the first annual Monster Slush Fest. There will be prizes for the best costume and the best style. Each contestant will be entered into a raffle with the grand prize being a Coca Cola Snowboard. There is a $5 registration fee or you can bring an item to be donated to the local food shelf.

This weekend for every item that you bring to donate to the local food shelf we will discount your lift ticket $1, limit $10 per person.

Wild Mountain raised $26,595 for the American Cancer Society at the Annual Joe Rauscher Memorial Race this past Saturday, March 12th.  Over the past years Joe’s Sporting Goods has raised over $280,000 at the Rauscher Cup. The Ski Challenge and Wild Mountain staff donate time and services so that all fees go directly to various Cancer Charities.

Congratulations to the following Wild Mountain snowboarders. They are headed to the 2011 USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain in Colorado. In their respective age groups Benny Milam is ranked 3rd out of 242, Garrett McKenzie 12 out of 274 & Luke McKenzie 36th out of 166. Good luck from all of us at Wild Mountain.

Don’t miss out on Joe’s final clearance sale of the season. There have some incredible deals!

Don’t forget that we are selling season passes for next season at the lowest rates of the year. In order to receive these great rates you must purchase your pass by Monday, April 4th.

If you like to plan ahead, think about spending Mother’s Day aboard one of our paddle wheel boats on the St Croix River. We offer 2 brunches, one at 11am & one at 2pm and a Dinner Cruise at 5pm. These sell out every year so, reserve your seats soon.
