Slopestyle course designer Pep Fujas had the Red Bull Cold Rush competitors raving about the jumps and course layout for day 2 on Silverton Mountain in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.  This event changes traditional slopestyle courses up and takes the athletes to the top of the mountain via helicopter and lets them show their stuff off perfect  backcountry kickers with soft powdery landings.  Once again, Sean Pettit went huge but the day belonged to Tim Durtschi who took top honors for the men and Grete Eliasson was queen for a day in the ladies field.

The event is jugded in 3 areas; slopestyle, big mountain and cliffs. The competitors will battle it out for the overall title, which will be awarded to the most versatile skier across all the competition elements.  Day 3 is the cliff venue and it should be amazing.

Athletes participating in this event include: Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Leo Ahrens, Sean Pettit, Collin Collins, Suzanne Graham, Emiko Torito, Logan Pehota, Tim Durtschi, Dylan Hood, Dane Tutor, Dave Treadway, Grete Eliasson, Josh Bibby, Shelly Robertson and Richard Permin.
