STRATTON MOUNTAIN, VT – Stratton rang in spring with yet another snowstorm, pushing the season’s annual snowfall to 200 inches! The four inches of newly fallen snow received today made for light and fluffy skiing across the resort’s 86 open trails.

It’s been a blessed winter season across the Northeast. Stratton long-ago eclipsed the 2009-2010 season snowfall of 163 inches.

The snow arrived in time to coat the mountain in anticipation of the U.S. Freestyle Championships, March 22-27. The contest will bring the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team – Vermont native and Olympic medalist Hannah Kearney – as well as the best of divisional skiers from across the country to Stratton to compete for the top title in moguls, aerials, halfpipe and dual moguls.

With 200 inches under their belt and many days left in the season, Stratton is making it easier than ever to get on the hill and save! Lift and lodging packages are up to 50% off every day starting March 27.
