Stratton plays host to U.S. Freestyle Championships and 200 inches

Spring roared in with yet another snowstorm pushing Stratton Resort’s annual snowfall total to 200 inches.  With nothing but flurries and sunny skies in the forecast for this weekend, Stratton is skiing and riding top spring conditions. Goggle tans and great turns for all.

The U.S. Freestyle Championships are officially underway. The U.S. Ski Team and top divisional athletes from around the country, including Vermont native and Olympic medalist, Hannah Kearney, are on hand to compete for the sport’s top honors. Aerial competition is on Thursday, 03/24, moguls on 03/25, half pipe on 03/26 and dual moguls on 03/26.

Half the price is twice as nice – Save up to 50% on lift and lodging packages in select properties from March 27 through the end of the season. Blood Drive – Thursday, March 31 from 12:30pm-5:30pm. Stratton will be hosting a blood drive benefiting the American Red Cross in the Base Lodge. Walk-in or schedule an appointment by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Burgers and Bonks – Saturday, April 02. Most likely on Tyrolienne, this event starts early! Registration gets you access to one of the most fun spring jams on the calendar. Cash and swag to be won, free lunch for all participants.

Spring Fling Weekend – Saturday, April 09 to Sunday, April 10. There’s no better time to be at the mountain than the last weekend of the year. A season full of soft snow, longer days and activities including BBQs, the annual Pond Skim and more!
