The top American Freestyle skiers charged the 22 foot half pipe at Stratton Mountain Resort today under sunny skies. Southern Vermont native Devin Logan clinched her victory with a score of 36.80 in a best of two run format. David won the men’s contest with a 46.00, trailed closely by Stratton native Marshall Lacroix.

The crowds were enthusiastic, lining the pipe with cheers and cowbells.  Logan (Mount Snow, VT) was joined on the podium by Dara Howell (Huntsville, ON) and Maddie Bowman (South Lake Tahoe, CA).

Wise (Reno, NV), fresh off his pipe victory at the European Freeski Open, was flanked by Marshall (Stratton, VT) and 14 year old pipe powerhouse Aaron Blunck (Crested Butte, CO).

The Freestyle Championships wrap up tomorrow, Sunday, March 27 when Friday’s top mogul competitors will be back on World Cup dueling it out side by side in dual moguls.
