Summer ski camps with Inside Out Skiing

Want to ski in the summer without travelling to the Southern hemisphere?  Help is at 

hand! 

 

A few of the European glaciers offer summer ski training opportunities.  The Inside Out Ski Club is holding 3-day summer ski camps in June, offering a package of accommodation, airport transfers and three half-day coaching sessions.  Following the great success of our Autumn Ski Camps we are once again working with the Hotel Les Melezes in Tignes Les Boisses to offer a great value package, so there’s no need to pack your ski boots away for the summer!

Summer skiing starts early in the day and finishes by lunchtime, allowing time for walks, mountain biking, lazing in the hot tub or just relaxing with a good book among 

the splendour of the Alps.  The minimum level to join these ski camps is Level 6 on Inside Out’s ability scale, and you must be comfortable to ride on T-bars and happy to ski on firm snow first thing in the morning and soft snow later in the day.  

In the coaching sessions we will work on the fundamentals of ski technique such as clean transitions and edge control for carving, or coordination and twisting your skis for skiing steep terrain. On hill exercises, drills and feedback will be supplemented by video analysis.  Group sizes will be no more eight per instructor, so places are limited and early booking is recommended.

                    

Once again we are partnering with the Hotel Les Melezes in Tignes Les Boisses, run by Mountain Sun Holidays Ltd.  This provides great value accommodation and helpful staff who ensure we get to the slopes on time.  The package includes:

• Free transfers to/from Geneva airport
• 3 nights accommodation

You are free to make whatever travel arrangements are convenient for you.  If you wish to use the free airport transfer please book flights to arrive in time for a 7.30pm departure from Geneva, and return flights no earlier than 8.00pm.
