GEAR HEADS @ SIA: Sneak Peek Fall 2011: Hart

Posted By: The Ski Channel on April 4, 2011 10:04 am

GEAR HEADS was at the 2011 SIA Snow Show this year and we caught up with Hart Skis. Did you know that almost 900 snow sport brands were represented at this years Snow Show?  Hart Skis was right in the middle of the action and The Ski Channel got a first hand look from owner Bill Holmberg what they have in store for the 2011-2012 season.

Hart Skis introduced the first metal edged ski back in 1955 and dominated the ski industry holding a 40% market share into the mid sixties.  A long time sponsor to the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, their skis have been synonymous with Olympic success and World Championship medals.  Today, they show us that Hart skis are not just for moguls and aerials.   With a full line up of skis that ‘have something for everyone’ including all mountain skis, twin tip park skis, backcountry skis with rocker and the F17 World Cup and F17 Classic skis.  Artistic top sheets, cool new designs the kids love and the same durable, quality construction make Hart Skis a key figure in the ski industry once again.

Hart is also committed to earth-friendly practices with such things as using recycled paper and planting an evergreen tree for every pair of skis they make.  All skis come with a limited lifetime warranty.
