Mammoth gets another foot of snow

The good times are rolling at Mammoth Mountain this year.  The Grand Prix of Snowboarding, the College Games, their locals getting podiums at big time events, record breaking snowfall, their MVP pass just went on sale, world class terrain parks, a huge play land filled with powder and skiing or snowboarding until July 4th, AGAIN!

So why would mother nature take a break with the Mammoth Invitational coming next weekend?  She didn’t.

“Just when we thought winter was finally over and our 50 feet was going to be it – Mother Nature dumps another foot in our laps and winter is back on.”  said Mammoth Mountain’s  Dan Hansen.

The invitational I spoke of earlier is a great event.  Catch it if you can.  Why?  Well, you can mix it up with and join Olympians, celebrities, ski and snowboard lovers like yourself for a key weekend on Mammoth Mountain, all in the name of a great cause.  The Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation is an amazing program designed to raise money for young athletes and scholars in the Eastern Sierra.  Their mission is to provide facilities, services, programs and equipment to help facilitate educational and competitive excellence.  Come to Mammoth Mountain and participate in Alpine racing, Snowboarding, Freeskiing, evening functions, auctions, Family Fun Cup, meals and much more Friday through Sunday April 8 – 10.
