Women’s World Cup ski jumping to debut in Lillehammer

OBERHOFEN, Switzerland — Lillehammer hill, site of the 1994 Olympics, will play host to the debut of the woman’s ski jumping World Cup Season.

The International Ski Federation (FIS) stated that it has put together a 16-event schedule commencing at the Norwegian resort on Dec. 3rd. 

The World Cup circuit is scheduled to visit 10 resorts in eight countries, with Zao in Japan next March the only stop outside Europe.

The 2011-12 season is set to end on March 10th in Oslo.
