Matchstick Productions looking for 2011 Summer Interns

Do you want to have a summer internship with one of the best extreme sports film production companies?  MSP Films, or as they are known in long hand form as Matchstick Productionsis looking for 2011 summer interns!  Based in Crested Butte, CO and acclaimed for their breakthrough movie, SKI MOVIE in 2000 which was rewarded movie of the year by Powder and Freeze Magazines, has some additional limited space to fill. 

There are two entry-level positions  available between June 1st and October 31st, 2011. Those positions responsibilities will include answering phones, filling orders, coordinating and shipping materials for the movie tour, and general office assistance.  Below are some more specifics from MSP Films

 

 

Candidates should have some experience in the following areas:
  
  -Computer experience (preferably on the Mac operating system)
  -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
  -Experience working with customers over the phone and maintaining a friendly / courteous tone
  -Willingness to take direction and ability to self-motivate
  -Ability to see the “big picture,” adhere to a schedule, and meet deadlines
  -Some basic understanding of the ski industry

Additional experience preferred, but not required:
  
  -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator and Photoshop)
  -Experience in web administration / maintenance / upkeep
  -Prior work experience in the ski industry, film / video production, event production, or distribution

All of their positions are based in our their office in Crested Butte. Applicants must be able to spend the specified time frame there. Benefits may be available for the right candidate based on experience.
