Telluride, Colorado - Telluride Ski Resort’s marketing team has been recognized with its third “Best Overall Marketing Program” award in the last four years at the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) annual conference last week in Carlsbad, California. This is a true honor bestowed on the best in the U.S ski industry. It is the fourth Marketing Award for Telluride in total.
Judges reviewed print, electronic, and interactive marketing and advertising strategies, factoring both the creative and promotional elements and corresponding results. The awards are annually presented to ski resorts nationwide, both large and small, for their successful marketing programs that ultimately help foster the continued growth of skiing and snowboarding. Telluride competes in the 250,000 – 500,000 skier visit category.
“It’s an honor to receive this type of award from the NSAA and winter sports industry, recognizing the vision, implementation and results of our Telluride brand campaign,” said Matt Skinner, executive director of sales and marketing for Telluride Ski & Golf. “This team is dedicated and talented, and I’m glad to see their hard work pay off.”
The NSAA is a trade association formed in 1962 for ski area owners and operators, representing 325 alpine resorts nationwide. It analyzes and distributes industry stats, produces conferences, tradeshows and an industry publication as well as takes an active role in state and federal government affairs.
