Alpine Meadows re-opens for July 4th

Cel-e-brate Good Times Come On!  Light those firecrackers now! I mean, somewhere you can legally do it, of course. I don’t want to get in any trouble.

Due to the enormous amounts of snow received and that they are still getting this 2010/2011 season, Alpine Meadows in Lake Tahoe just announced they will be reopening the resort for the 4th of July Weekend.

You can pre-purchased Alpine Meadow’s holiday weekend lift tickets that start at $40 daily.  However, just for the 4th of July weekend, Alpine Meadows will host the “4th of July Fan Quest” challenge from May 13 through June 30 in which guests have a chance to reduce daily rates to just $25.  Excuse me, what?  This is when you are continuing to celebrate everybody.

Get on their $25 bandwagon. Here’s how you can:

-Guests visit SkiAlpine.com to reserve lift tickets with a $25 down payment for each daily visit throughout Independence Day weekend, with the $15 balance due upon arrival to the mountain.

-For every 1,000 new fans Alpine Meadows gains on Facebook between May 13 and June 30, Alpine will knock $3 off the balance due for all pre-purchasers – up to 5,000 new fans (or a possible $15 savings).

-Click the “Like” button on the upper right of our Page. Or, if you’re already a fan, use the “Suggest to Friends” functionality just below to help spread the word.

Pre-sale tickets will be available online until June 30. Lift tickets purchased at the resort day-of will be $50.
