Centerplate renews partnership with USSA

PARK CITY, UT  – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), the governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding, is extending its  partnership with world-class hospitality provider Centerplate. An influential source for the USSA’s hospitality services during the recent 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Centerplate provided nightly services at the Spyder U.S. Ski Team House, the central rallying point for USSA athletes and their families.

“With our commitment to winter sports, we are honored to support the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding,” said Bob Pascal, Centerplate’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “Their vision to be best in the world complements our own to be number one in event hospitality.”

Centerplate is the largest food service provider for the NFL, a major provider to professional baseball, and are partnered with five of the top ten most active convention centers. They are one of the largest companies who special in hospitality in the world, managing catering needs for political and social functions aside from high-profile athletic functions and venues. Lending services to ski resort partners in the eastern USA, Centerplate has been an active provider in the Nature Valley Freestyle Cup in Lake Placid, NY, one of the top stops on the World Cup circuit.

Centerplate will continue to provide catering services to USSA events, whenever and wherever possible. Additionally, they also announced plans to use athlete and event imagery on cups and other items at their various resort partners and will host an autograph session with USSA athletes at a selected resort this season.
