Deer Valley Opens a Summer Adventure Camp June 13

Opening day for Deer Valley’s Summer Adventure Camp takes place on Monday June 13, 2011. The camp is located at Deer Valley Resort’s state-licensed Children’s Center in Snow Park Lodge at the Resort base. Kids as young as two months old ranging to twelve years old can sign up for daily, weekly or summerly sessions. Camp activities include swimming, hiking, mountain biking, arts, field trips and various other fun-filled events. Also included in the camp is a community service project entitled the Summer Adventure Volunteer Effort (S.A.V.E.), to raise money for a specific organization through an art show. 

Camp hours are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with activities taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Affordable lunches are available, but it is suggested for each camper to bring a nut-free sack lunch and bottled water. 



Sunflowers (Ages two to 11 months)

Seasonal Full-day Rate: $2,268

Seasonal Three-Day Week: $1,680

(Daily, weekly and half-day rates are not currently available for Sunflowers)

Grasshoppers (12 to 19 months, child must be walking)

Ramblers (20 to 36 months)

Trekkers (three and four years of age, child must be potty-trained)

Full-day Program:

Daily: $65

Half-day morning program (9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.):

Explorers (five and six years of age)

(Half-day rates are not available for Explorers & Mountaineers programs) 


In addition to the costs, field trip fees range from $15-$25 and swimming fees are $6.
