In anticipation to the 15th Annual Trailing of the Sheep Festival coming in October, The Flat Sheep Company Ranch will be hosting a kickoff barbecue on Sunday, June 26, 2011. The deadline to sign-up is by this Sunday, June 12, 2011.

Outside of Sun Valley Resort, The Flat Sheep Company Ranch is 24 mountain dirt road miles from Bellevue, Idaho. The Ranch has been a functioning sheep ranch since the 1920s.

Get in to the ranching lifestyle with some amazing barbeque, have a scenic drive over Muldoon with the backside of the Pioneers, and learn about this unique ecosystem, hear stories of the spirited James Laidlaw, the 130-old cabin and history as well as ranching life and lore. There will also be a couple of items auctioned including the cattle drive, a tour of the 26,000 acre ranch and a lamb dinner, and a beautiful saddle for the occasion as well.

In the vast open landscape, Trailing of the Sheep Board members plan an authentic lamb barbecue June 26 from 3-6PM. The cost is $25.00 per person and you must RSVP by June 12. Seats are filling up fast!

For sign-ups, please email: heather@trailingofthesheep.org or Call 720-0585.
