Ski Patrollers Save 2 Men in Mt. Hood Car Crash

God Bless all the Ski Patrollers. Attached below is “A Story of true Heroism” letter passed to me from an ex-Killington Ski Patroller. It details the story of off-duty Patrollers coming to the aid of 2 men who crashed their car in Mt. Hood the first week of June.

This valiant rescue effort proves again that there really is no such thing as being an “off-duty” Ski Patroller, just as there is no such thing as being an “off-duty” Firefighter. Like many Firefighters, Ski Patrollers are volunteers, sacrificing their time and safety for us.

The world and mountains are a safer place thanks to them. We salute you!
