First day of summer hits Breckenridge with mild temps and wild rides at the Breckenridge Fun Park!
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. - As the first day of summer arrived yesterday, the Breckenridge Ski Resort is digging their way out of a record snow season and debuted the “Breckenridge Super Tubing” for the first time at The Breckenridge Fun Park. The Fun Park which opened last week on June 17th, is located at the base of Peak 8.
This is the first summer for snow tubing at Breckenridge Ski Resort, where they are offering the world’s longest ride at 2000 feet! The Park Lane Super Tubing hill sits in the footprint of the Ski Resort’s famous Park Lane TerrainPark. Snow tubing should continue until July 4th, weather permitting.
Brand new featured attractions this year also include the inaugural season of Breck 4×4 off-road tours, pony rides for kids, and the first warm-weather operations of the thrilling new GoldRunner Alpine Coaster! The Breckenridge Fun Park is open now until September 4th daily, and weekends only from September 9-18th. Hours are be 10 am-6 p.m.
The Breckenridge Fun Park this summer will feature activities for all ages, including the Alpine SuperSlide, mountain biking, a SuperPutt Mini Golf course, Rockpile climbing wall, SuperBungee Trampoline, Ripperoo’s bounce house, gemstone panning, guided hikes and Colorado’s largest human maze!
