The New Hampshire Fish and Game officials have been busy so far this summer season. On May 10, 2011 reports of two Vermont hikers were safely found after they got lost while hiking in the Pisgah State Park in Hinsdale. Now today, just reported from Associated Press, two more hikers are safe and sound after they got lost while hiking in Mount Monadnock.
As these hikers know, it’s important to have a buddy. Expert climber whose famous story was told by Danny Boyle, Aron Ralston, will for sure tell you the same thing – or at least to make sure you tell someone where you go. Please be safe out there!

JAFFREY, N.H. (AP)—New Hampshire Fish and Game officials are reminding hikers to be prepared for the unexpected after coming to the rescue of one couple who got lost in the dark and rain without a flashlight or protection.
Conservation officers found 29-year-old Steven Collazo of Killeen, Texas, and 25-year-old Kristen Lomas of Leominster, Mass., who lost their way on a trail while hiking Mount Monadnock in Jaffrey. After getting a 911 call at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers found them soaking wet at 12:45 a.m. Thursday. They were not hurt.
Officers say the pair were prepared for a short hike, but not for an extended outing with heavy rain.
