Posted By: The Ski Channel on July 5, 2011 1:07 pm

Tis the season for off-piste skiing!

Get in the action for superior snowcat, off-piste skiing in Patagonia at Frontier Las Leñas. They supply you, the advance and expert skier/snowboarder, with fantastic off-piste terrain in key spots including Portillo, Arpa cat skiing and the backcountry of La Parva, El Colorado and Valle Nevado. However this adventure is more than just skiing.

After hitting the Chilean backcountry, you’ll then be going to Mendoza, Argentina where you’ll be tasting some wine at award winning vineyards. Once your body has cleansed itself with red wine, then you’re off for five days in Las Leñas, Argentina for powder cleansing – they promise for some huge knee-deep powder.

The Frontier Las Leñas is a guiding tour and they are accepting reservations now for their 2011 session which is happening from August 30 to September 10.
