There’s a lot of art happening at Copper Mountain in Colorado this summer!
The Parker Artists Guild, made up of a wide variety of artists living in and around the Douglas County and Denver Metro areas, will bring fine art and fine craft of all styles to Copper for this 2nd annual Village Art Walk this coming weekend on July 15-17. The event on Friday and Saturday is from 10am – 6pm and then on Sunday from 10am to 4pm in Center Village.
The mission of the Parker Artist Guild is to advance the development of fine arts in the community. To accomplish this, the Guild participates in a variety of art shows during the year and offers instructional demonstrations, workshops and opportunities to promote all forms of fine art.
Formed in May of 2001 by seven local artists, The Parker Artist Guild has grown to more than 200 members. You can become a member as long as you have interests in the arts – both professional and non-professional artists and at any level. Oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, photography, jewelry, sculpture, pottery, wood carving, painted tiles, quilt making and stained glass mediums are represented in The Parker Artist Guild.
