Post Potter depression? Since the last installment of the Harry Potter series dominated the box office this weekend and “You Know Who” has been destroyed, fans of the series might have to accept the fact that the popular actors will be detaching from their Potter roles to embark on other film endeavors.

One project Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, is extremely excited about is a biopic about British skier Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, who was the first person to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping and was well-known for his daring ski stunts.

The film still needs a writer and director, but Rupert told MTV news, “It’s a story that I really like and it’s still in the working yet. I still have faith that it will happen.”

The actor is looking for a role that is completely different from being the laughable best friend of Harry. Rupert reflected, “Playing the same character for ten years really does to this kind of newfound freedom.”

Hopefully he will find his next success on the slopes.
