The final episode of Destination Arctic Circle – Greenland’s web series “Rough. Real. Remote,” showcasing the Greenland travels and adventures of former Olympic Skier Arne Hardenberg and Austrian Snowboard Pro Stefan Gimpl has finally come to an end. On this last episode 6 title “Settlement Songs,” the guys visit the village of Kangaamiut.
With a population of only 350, Kangaamiut’s only road that leads into the village are the massive fjords. Lacking one single car, the village thrives on the beauty of their surroundings and the people themselves. The chorale sing featured in “Settlement Songs” is wonderfully enchanting. Arne and Stefan really truly got a good taste of hospitality, and we thank them for sharing their experiences with us the viewers.
