Rush Drummer Cross-Country Skis to Stay Fit at 58

Drumming is very physically demanding, and therefore requires off the job training along with lighting up the stage from state to state, country to country.

 

Widely considered one of the greatest living drummers, Neil Peart of Rush discusses how he stays fit so as to be able to endure longevity in his career spanning far longer than the average rock drummer.

 

One of Peart’s secrets, “cross-country skiing” which is one his regimens to keep his stamina up, so as to prolong his 37-year old drumming career.
