The crew at Sweetgrass Productions are true artists. Their films reach beyond the “normal” terms of what a ski movie is. They weave in life and beauty on the mountain and off.

Their official trailer for their next upcoming film, Solitaire, has just dropped. The film’s world premiere will be September 15, 2011 in Denver, Colorado.

Shot on location in: Las Lenas, Argentina; Portillo, Chile; Nevados de Chillan, Chile; Patagonia, Chile; Bariloche, Argentina; Caviahue, Argentina; Huaraz, Peru; Iquitos, Peru; Uyuni, Bolivia; and Sajama, Bolivia. It features many people, but some are: JP Auclair, Forrest Coots, Chris Erickson, Osamu “Ommu” Okada, Alex Paul, and honoring Arne Backstrom and Kip Garre.

In the words of Sweetgrass themselves: “These balls are destined for the walls, things have been kicked into gear for SOLITAIRE’s September release, and it feels like Christmas is finally coming after Santa skipped it for a year. THE OFFICIAL SOLITAIRE TRAILER arrives at your computer gift wrapped in goat hide with a ribbon of cow intestine!”
