Aspen/Snowmass, CO– The Aspen/Snowmass Passholder Appreciation Day at Snowmass is this Saturday, August 13, 2011. All 2010-2011 season passholders and 2011 full summer passholders will receive a free bike haul pass and Snowmass lift access for the day, and each passholder can bring a friend or family member along for free. In addition, all children 12 and under will receive a free kid’s combo meal at Elk Camp Café on that day.
We’ve been working hard to get the new trails open and everything up and running and we wanted to give everyone a chance to come out and experience it,” says Steve Sewell, Snowmass Mountain Manager. “If you haven’t ridden on Snowmass lately, you’ll find a totally new experience providing lift-served access to all levels of riders – from beginners and families to the downhill rider.”
The bike trails open are: the Vapor Trail, sections of the Gravity Logic Trail, and the Alpine Funnel Trail. Sections of the Gravity Logic Trail which were designed and built by Gravity Logic, Inc., the team behind the Whistler Mountain Park offer three-and-a-half miles of intermediate/advanced downhill terrain over 3,500 feet, including large berms, jumps, table tops and additional freeride features.
Starting Monday, August 8, all 2010-2011 Premier adult season passholders are invited to redeem four $5 off coupons for friends and family, good on 1-day full price adult or senior lift tickets or any two-mountain weekly passes through the rest of summer operations. All other 2010-2011 adult passholders are invited to redeem two $5 off coupons. The Premier passholders also get deals off on bike rentals, logo merchandise and bike tuning.
