STRATTON MOUNTAIN, Vermont  – There are only 96 days left until the mountain slopes open, so what better way to pre-game winter at Stratton Mountain in Vermont this coming Labor Day with a slopeside weekend full of live music, local food and healthy competition. Perhaps all the celebration will bring the snow faster and more abundantly. Let the snow dancing commence!

Whether you are looking for a long weekend/holiday getaway with friends or family to close this summer, Stratton and southern Vermont has so many activities designed to celebrate and keep you outside to enjoy the very green mountains before they are covered with beautiful white snow.
