Bob and Mike Bryan are the greatest doubles players ever to hold a racket with 73 ATP Titles and 11 Grand Slams, but over the last few years, they have been spending what little free time they have bombing groomers at Mammoth Mountain.  “My goal is to be able to get down Daves Run without eating it,” said Bob the left of the duo.  “That would be like my skiing version of winning Wmbledon.”  Said Mike Bryan, “when tennis is comes to an end, I’m getting a place up there for sure.”

The dou puts on a yearly charity event to raise money for their Byran Brothers Foundation and this year it is the Bryan Brothers Tennis Fest & Wine Tasting.  Last year’s event raised more than $80,000 for the Foundation, which also awarded a $5,000 grant to both the Ventura County Junior Tennis Association and the Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons to financially assist a promising junior player from each area. They also donate to many great local causes and regional charities.
“This is a day for Mike and Bob’s Foundation, but it’s also a day of fun and relaxation that is so much more than tennis,” said Dave McKinney, the director of tennis at Spanish Hills and the event organizer. “It’s a fun day with music, food and wine. And of course the Pro-Am tennis and pro exhibition singles and doubles.”
Last year, top American’s Mardy Fish (world ranked #7) and Sam Querrey joined the twins, as did several special musical guests, including Jim Bogios of the Counting Crows and Michael Johns of American Idol fame who will return once again this year.  Both Johns and Bogios perform regularly with the Bryan Brother Band which is premiere entertainment on the professional tennis tour and all over the country.  Bob Bryan plays keys and Mike is a drummer turned guitar player.  They have performed on stage with the Counting Crows and regularly hang with great bands like Maroon 5 and Dave Matthews.

The Bryan’s along with their good pal Gavin Rossdale of Bush with have songs on The Ski Channel Film Tour’s new touring film this fall entitled “Winter” and the Bryan’s music was all over last years film, “The Story.”

For the event the schedule for the day is from noon to 5 p.m. with a pro-am, wine tasting and pro exhibition.
General seating tickets are currently available for $100 and VIP tables start at $500. Tickets can be purchased through the website at or by contacting Spanish Hills.
