MAD RIVER GLEN, VT - The seasons are shifting and Vermont is experiencing the legendary fall foliage they are best known for. Our friends at Mad River Glen were nice enough to share a video showing the great colors this morning.

Don’t forget that this upcoming weekend is the Green & Gold Weekend at MRG, and is the official kick-off to their 63rd season. If you are on the East Coast it is not to be missed! There is going to be BBQs, wine, biking, and even some hill climbing. Its the perfect way to come out and be a part of the Mad River Glen community, make some new friends, and celebrate the changing seasons.

On Saturday, October 1st the day starts off at 9:00 AM with a Mountain Work Day, where you will join Jay Appleton & his crew while they help maintain MRG’s forest and epic woods skiing lines. Next is the Stark Mountain Hill Climb Running Race at 10:00 AM. Followed by the MRG Homeowners Association Meeting from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, and Co-op Shareholders Informational Town Meeting 4:00-5:00 PM. Those who frequent MRG may want to consider becoming a shareholder, and can attend these meetings to learn more.

If you don’t own a home or any stock, fear not, the Stark Mountain Foundation Harvest Wine Fest starts at 3:00 PM and goes until 6:00 PM.

Sunday’s activities start with the Allen Clark Memorial Hill Climb Bike Race which holds registration at 8:30 AM and officially starts at 10:00 AM, and is followed by the Traditional Green & Gold Chicken BBQ at 11:00 AM.
