The 20th Annual Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo is taking place at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver from Friday Nov. 4 through SundayNov 6.
This Expo has become Colorado’s biggest Ski and Snowboard Expo, showing off more than 20,000 square feet of retail space jam-packed with excess inventory from last season, from all over the country and from the top outdoor gear companies. Also, all 26 Colorado resorts are on site with “show-only” specials on season passes, lift tickets, lodging, lessons, and discounts on dining and mountain resort activities.
This year there will be a full blown Brew Fest, and for $25, beer-lovers will have access to three hours of sampling from more than 10 breweries showcasing a number of their distinctive beers and ales. There will also be many family activities, including the “ELITEAM” Training Center which gives kids a chance to play on a specialized apparatus under the supervision of Olympian Doug Lewis. The RipStoke mountain bike team will be there showing off their tricks, as well as the MBS Mountainboard Big Air Show who will be throwing their own set of fresh moves over ramps and rails.
Make sure to bring in your old ski gear to drop off at the recycling center. Usable equipment will be donated to local charitable programs, while everything else will be crushed and prepared for recycling into new products. Its a great way to clean out your garage, and give back to the community and environment.
Admission is $12 for adults or $10 with a discount available in The Denver Post, any Colorado Ski and Golf store or www.onthesnow.com. Kids 12 and under are free.
