Colorado’s Echo Mountain is gearing up for its annual “Bring on the Snow” party, this Saturday, October 15 from 11 – 3. Even though lifts won’t be operating, terrain will be open for skiing and boarding for just $5. Access is free for current season pass holders or for Ski Cooper or Sunlight pass holders willing to use up one of their 3 free days.
Cindy Dady, Echo Mountain General Manager remarked, “It’s going to be a great day at Echo. It’s the earliest date our mountain has been able to open – even on a limited basis. Those who’ve never been here, they will enjoy the short drive, family-friendly accommodations and affordability of Echo Mountain.”
Not only will there be a chance to hit some slopes during the party but mountain goers will be able to purchase 2011-2012 season passes for only $179. Other opportunities include saving 50% on select retail, collecting giveaways and prizes, and joining the Ski & Ride School scavenger hunt. The Food Guy is giving away free lunch to the first 200 guests, and you won’t want to miss the feast since it includes traditional red chili, pork green chili, pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad. This is your chance to enjoy the party, save some cash, and get some quality fun riding in before season officially starts.
