The world has had a severe case of Apple-Fever this month. The new iPhone 4S annoucement last Tuesday, followed by Steve Jobs’ untimely passing was certainly a week of highs and lows. After days of deep reflection and Steve-ism status updates on everyone’s Facebook News Feed, it is now finally time for those pre-orders to start arriving by the UPS truckloads and lines stretching around the block at every Apple Store location.

While it is certainly an exciting time for technology — its refreshing to experience a spectacle that doesn’t have an “app for that”!

Quicksilver has just released footage of Iouri Podladtchikov, better know as “I-Pod” from the other side of the world, in Wanaka, New Zealand. The Olympian has just achieved the very first ever documented Switch Backside Double Cork 1260 / Switch Double McTwist!

Unlike the yearly refresh of Apple products, this is achievement that will not become obsolete any time soon.
