Orage has joined with team athlete and friend, JP Auclair and a few other partners – including Freeskier Magazine, Retallack Lodge and the Sherpas Cinema in an effort to raise funds in support of Alpine Initiatives 10,000 Ways to Help.

Since 2008, Alpine Initiatives has provided a platform for the snow sports community to participate in sustainable initiatives that create and care for healthier communities around the globe. Over the last four years, they have focused most of their efforts on a Kenya based community project in building an orphanage for children who were left homeless and sometimes without parents as a result of the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

Orage will match all donations (up to $5000 USD) in an effort to raise the $10,000 needed for this project. In addition, the sponsors will be giving out prizes as the amount of donations gets close to their goal.  Prizes include 60 pieces of Orage gear, 30 subscriptions to Freeskier Magazine, 10 “All I Can” dvds from Sherpas Cinema, 5 pairs of Orage Collectors edition skis crafted by Line Skis, 5 Orage jackets of your choice, 3 pairs of VIP tix to the winter dew tour, and one 3 day trip for 2 to Retallack Lodge. Wow– thats a lot of gear!
