Mike Douglas experiences the strength of a La Nina storm and enjoys some fresh pow on his 4th day living atop Whister Mountain

The 4th installment in the 6-part EMBEDDED video series is now live! In this episode pro skier Mike Douglas, feels the pressure of mountain preparation firsthand when both he and his hut are put to the test amidst a blistering storm. Patrol puts Mike to work in the race against time before the storm sets in and once it hits, he happily discovers that winds gusting over 80 miles per hour are no match for his shelter at the top of Whistler Mountain!

To capture the Embedded series, Douglas traded in his house and family for six days and nights of solitude atop of Whistler Mountain. Armed only with his skis, computer, camera, and sleeping bag, Douglas shows viewers just how much it takes to prepare world class resort Whistler Blackcomb for opening day.

Thanks to La Nina’s strong storms, Whister proudly opened its doors to the publoic six days early on Friday, November 18.

Sit back, relax and enjoy….and don’t forget to tune for the final two episodes!
