Park City, Utah (November 22, 2011) – Park City Mountain Resort announces an exciting new direction for its on-mountain dining with the additions of Brian Prusse as Chef de Cuisine and Adriaan Hager as Banquet Chef.
“I’m thrilled about the new dining opportunities for Resort guests under the direction of Brian and Adriaan,” said Deirdra Walsh, Food & Beverage Director for Park City Mountain Resort. “We look forward to keeping the classic menu items that guests know and love, while offering a variety of new homemade soups, sandwiches, burgers and entrees to tempt our guests’ taste buds.”
Chef Prusse brings 21 years of experience at prominent Park City restaurants to his new post, most recently serving as Executive Chef at Zoom Restaurant in Park City for 13 years. In his new role, Chef Prusse will create menus, manage kitchen staff, oversee ordering and purchasing of inventory and supervise food preparation for seven of the Resort’s on-mountain restaurants.
Authentic, homemade menu items receive an immediate new emphasis under Chef Prusse’s direction. Each of the Resort’s on-mountain restaurants will feature their own signature soups and chilis this season, and customers at Kristi’s Coffee Shop at Legacy Lodge will be able to order a variety of homemade baked goods.
Chef Hager has worked in kitchens since the age of 15, and also comes to the Resort from Zoom Restaurant where he had served as Sous Chef for the last 10 years. Chef Hager will direct menus and manage food preparation for all catered events at the Resort.
