Colorado’s Copper Mountain just opened the state’s first 22′ superpipe! Located just 75 miles west of Denver with 2,450 acres of ski and snowboard terrain, the mountain now  gets to boast a pipe worthy of the U.S. Freeskiing and Snowboarding Half Pipe teams. Top athletes practiced spins and grabs on the crisp 22′ walls, giving some insight into what talent will be present at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. But before then, on December 5th through 10th, top athletes will be ready to show their skills off at the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain.
