This upcoming Saturday (December 3rd) will see the Second Annual Mount Snow Film Festival return to the Snow Barn in West Dover, Vermont. At 5:30 PM, there will be screenings of Matchstick Productions film “The Attack of la Nina”, Rome Snowboards “The Shred Remains”, and the premier of Jeff Marr’s “Carinthia: The Movie”. Admission will be free for everyone until 9 but then a mature 21+ crowd will enjoy Funkwagon rhythms for $5.

Many of Mount Snow’s Carinthia Pro Team members will be featured in “Carinthia: The Movie”. 17-year-old, West Dover resident Devin Logan is the only woman (and youngest competitor) in the Winter X Games superpipe and slopestyle events. She was the AFP Overall Women’s Champion in 2011 and placed second in women’s superpipe and slopestyle at the Winter Dew Tour Finals last winter.
The movie also features Ian Compton of Brattleboro, Vermont. The skier has appeared in Meathead Film’s “Wild Stallions” and “LINE Traveling Circus” as well as in his own web series. Last but not least, the film also shows off talented snowboarder Shaun Murphy (a Carinthia Park Ranger and member of Mount Snow’s Carinthia Pro Team).
