Looking for a wide variety of terrain? Mammoth’s terrain parks are in full-swing, with plenty of features no matter what your ability level. Start on Forest Trail, then work your way into Main Park and try out the Olympic-size Half Pipe. There is so much to experience that you won’t want to cram it all into just a weekend! As thank you to their dedicated riders Mammoth is offering a great deal; buy two consecutive days of riding and they will give you the third for free.

In addition to park upgrades, December 17th marks the annual Night of Lights celebration. An explosive light show above the slopes with an array of preferred seating options throughout Canyon Lodge offering a variety of vantage points will make it an experience not to be forgotten. Wrapping up the free, on-hill festivities is a concert from The Naked + Famous! The New Zealand indie-pop rockers whose melodies have muscled their way into pop culture lately, will be appearing throughout The Art of Flight, Gossip Girl and FIFA 12. After the concert head to any or all of the wrap-up events, whether it’s Canyon Lodge for wine or Hyde Lounge to get wild.

Finally, Night of Lights weekend marks the opening of the second annual Art Park; featuring the work of the legendary Jamie Lynn. His designs have woven their way into the world of snowboarding, most recognizably upon Lib Tech topsheets for years. On December 16, head to Hyde Lounge for the opening reception party featuring Jamie and his designs. After the show head out to the hill on Saturday to ride ten all-new rail features adorned with his artwork and several snow features that reflect Jamie’s own style of riding.
