Natural Snowfall in Telluride Assists in Preparations for Snowboardcross World Cup – Dec 14-17

Telluride Ski Resort has gotten absolutely dumped on this season, and just saw a storm this past weekend that deposited over two additional feet of the white stuff accross their slopes. The resort is up to a solid 34 inch base with a total snowfall of 52 inches for the year. The more fresh natural snow that drops, the more terrain the mountain can open up each day for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy!

This natural snow storm comes at the perfect time. The recent accumulation is proving to be a huge help in preparations for the 2011 Snowboardcross World Cup event which is being held December 14-17. Telluride is the only US stop for this action packed snowboarding competition.

Everyone is cordially invited to experience the games next week. Telluride Resort Lodging has come out with a spectacular deal for World Cup visitors offering a discount of 30% on lodging when booking three or more days during the event. Other Ski and Stay packages are also available throughout the season. Be sure to look for these great deals at or call 800.778.8581
