Fresh pow pow. Cutting edge lift pass technology that pays you back every time you use it. More off-mountain events and activities then one can attend. All at a resort accessible without any mountain driving. Sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong! This is the scene at Southern California’s Mountain High Resort right now!

On Monday, December 12, 2011 a cold winter storm finally rolled through San Bernandino County, leaving a heap of snow and near perfect skiing and snowboarding conditions in its wake. Visitors were elated to see the falling flakes, which seemed to disappear for weeks after a strong season opening. “A lot of people are really ready for the ski, the snowboard season and it’s here, we’re getting snow,” said Kim Hermon from Mountain High.

The new snow, coupled with some fun on-going promotions, makes Mountain High a prime destination for skiers and snowboarders this weekend. Currently five lifts, accessing sixteen runs, including the headwall are open on Mountain High’s West Resort. Following a day of skiing or riding, check out the apres scene, which promises to be a fun time with events ranging from “Industry Shred Day and College Night” on Thursday, December 15th, to a live radio feed from X1039 on Friday, to a creative rail jam on Saturday and International Go Snowboarding Day on Sunday.

Finally, Mountain High’s Express Pass should not be missed! The sophisticated and environmentally-friendly lift ticket, can be encoded time and again with almost any Mountain High lift ticket, saving skiers and snowboarders both time and money. For all the details, check out The Ski Channel’s article featuring the Express Pass, here.

Enjoy the slopes!
