Winter Park Resort Offers Unreal Holiday Fun

Colorado’s Winter Park Resort is putting together an unbeatable holiday season for everyone to get a kick out of. Visitors and mountain-lovers alike can experience a heavenly mix of mountaintop dining, parade entertainment, date night fun, and fireworks.

The annual Torchlight Parade will be on December 24th with Christmas carols around a bonfire (next to the Zephyr Lift at 4 pm) followed by torch-bearing skiers and riders, and the entrance of Santa Clause and his little minion helpers. The slopes will be lit up with a fireworks display and Christmas color lights literally lighting the slope (on snowcats). Right after the show, all guests are welcome to attend the Christmas Eve interdenominational services in West Portal Level 4.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will also offer holiday dinners at The Lodge at Sunspot. This unique offer provides Colorado cuisine with an elaborate wine list. Set atop Winter Park Mountain with breathtaking views accessible only by a moonlight gondola ride, diners get even more spoiled with a choice between a buffet or five-course meal.

You can add even more awesomeness to your holidays with yet another moonlit gondola ride to The Lodge at Sunspot for fireside cocktails and appetizers. Gondola rides leave from the Zephyr Express Lift and cost $10 per person.

Throw some romance into your Winter Resort nights with Friday and Saturday Date Night specials of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries (cliched but still unbeatable!). Romance is made idiot proof with everything plus the gondola ride only $25 for two.
Winter Park also offers great family activities in The Village such as free ice skating lessons, Broomball, Kids’ Night Out, Mini Rail Jams, and more. Visit for more information.
