Happy Birthday Stratton: photo of Stratton team members by the newly dedicated sign. The sign is the original sign from the bottom of the Access Road from 1961.
Vermont’s Stratton Mountain celebrated its 50th Anniversary today. It was a day of partying and everyone was invited, with Mother Nature as the guest of honor! She came bearing gifts in the form of 4″ of fresh powder with the weatherman promising even more over the weekend.
Stratton Snowboarding: fresh flakes from the sky and underfoot, riding under the Gondi.
The birthday weekend is going to be complimented further with plenty of open slopes for skiers and snowboarders to make turns on. Mountain officials opened up 12 more trails today bringing the total to number of runs to 30. If the weatherman is right, they’ll be able to open even more trails throughout the upcoming holiday week. Here’s hoping!
