Big Bear & Snow Summit Celebrating with Winter Wonderland

Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are celebrating the holidays this season with a winter wonderland good enough to challenge the North Pole (if one was to believe in that sort of thing). There’s a 2-3 foot base of soft, luscious snow and both resorts are almost 100% open with Red Bull Plaza and Skill Builder Parks eagerly waiting for mountain-goers to come visit. Night sessions are already starting at Snow Summit for those skiers and riders prepared to grind out all day and night.

“The early season snowfall and colder than normal temperatures has provided Bear Mountain and Snow Summit with the best conditions around,” said Chris Riddle, Vice President of Marketing. “As Southern California’s learn to ski and ride headquarters, both resorts, including Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, will offer something for every skill level and increased terrain features to add to the excitement the season.”

Every lift is open and waiting to carry you up to your winter wonderland paradise filled with plenty of open runs and over 200 park features. Along with Snow Summit night skiing there’s the Annual New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade to partake in.

All three roads leading to Big Bear are wide open, and chains aren’t even required so you’re journey to the resorts can almost be as smooth as your runs down the mountain. Find out more at www.bearmountain.com and www.snowsummit.com.
