Vermont’s college students home for the holidays have something to get them out of bed this holiday season. At Bolton Valley from Monday January 2 – Friday January 13, 2012 skiers and snowboarders with a valid university ID will enjoy a day on the slopes for just $19!
“Bolton also is home to Vermont’s most extensive night skiing and riding so college students can actually ski or ride from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for just $19,” said Bolton Director of Sales and Marketing Josh Arneson. “That adds up to less than $2 an hour on the snow. Plus we’ll have $2 pizza slices will be available in the base lodge each week as well. Pretty cool.”
Bolton Valley is highly accessible and is a mere 30minute drive from Burlington, VT. Skiers and snowboarders will have access to over 70 trails, 6 chairlifts and 3 terrain parks — which includes the new Burton Progression Park. Not only will visitors have a great time on the slopes, but can also feel good doing it knowing that Bolton Valley operates with the environment in mind. The resort was the first in Vermont and the second in the United States to incorporate wind power as a main energy source. Bolton Valley was awarded the National Ski Areas Association’s Silver Eagle Award for environmental initiatives in 2010.
